What is a Portrait Session?

A portrait session is the opposite of the classic portrait photos in the studio. Instead of meeting in our studio with controlled light and neutral background, we meet at a place that suits you. For example at your home, outdoors in nature or in the office. The goal is to create great pictures of you in an authentic environment, showing you in your everyday life. Just as you are. Of course, we make sure that you look good in the portraits and put you in the right light or show you a few poses that you can try. This way we create authentic and modern portraits of you.

You want only portrait photos in Stuido? Then you might be interested in the offer for business portraits.

How does a portrait session work?

Imagine you meet an old friend and you go for a walk in the park or have a coffee together. You exchange stories about past times or tell each other what you have just experienced. That's exactly how our portrait session should feel. We meet at a place of your choice and exchange a little about what you have in mind and what you would like. Then we get started and work together on the look of the photos. Of course you can bring as many dresses as you like. Often you can only see on the spot which piece of clothing fits the mood. Usually you meet with someone from the team for the 1:1 portrait shooting.

How long does a portrait session last?

Usually we need about 60min for the photo shoot. Of course, we can also extend if you are not happy with the result by then, or want more pictures. We charge the extensions to the nearest 30 minutes.

Tip: We recommend that you allow yourself enough rest and relaxation before the shoot so that you can fully concentrate on the pictures during the portrait shoot.

Can I get more photos?

20 photos are included in the package. Of course you can buy more photos, we will provide you with the final selection. You can choose your favorites after the shooting.

Since spontaneity and authenticity play a big role, you often only see afterwards which photo you personally like best. Therefore, you always get a selection of photos and can then choose comfortably. The selected, final photos are then carefully edited in our style and then made available to you digitally as a download or on a data carrier in full resolution.
